In the State Duma they want to block sites for calls to inconsistent protests

The State Duma Committee on the media approved the bill of the deputy from the LDPR Andrei Lugovoi on the extra-court blocking of Internet resources with calls for non-enactly rallies, Vedomosti reports. The document was supported by the United Russia faction, her representative, deputy Roman Chuychenko said at a meeting of the committee. The State Duma may consider the project next Thursday, the representative of the committee apparatus said. For the collection of amendments for him, only a day will be given for him, despite the fact that even the United Russia arose questions.

The project was developed to protect the company from illegal information to riots, extremist activities, inciting interethnic and interfaith -rope, participation in terrorist activities and public mass events conducted in violation of the law, said at a meeting of the Lugovoi Committee.

The decision to block the resource on which such information is distributed will be made by the Prosecutor General or his deputies - this will exclude abuse, the author of the project believes. It is assumed that the Prosecutor General or his deputies, having received information about the emergence of unlawful information on the Internet, will contact Roskomnadzor, who will direct the requirement to block the resource and delete such information from the communication operator, and he will explain the hosting provider, on which this resource is located, the deputy explained. The point is to immediately block such resources-not to give a day or two-three, as provided for by other laws, says Lugovoi.

According to Lugovoi, the problem is created not so much by social networks, most of which have special units capable of pointily blocking the distribution of calls, and ordinary sites - calls to hold shares in Biryulev in October spread through Yandex.PROBKS, he said.

For operational communications with Roskomnadzor under the Prosecutor General, apparently, a special unit will be created, Lugovoi believes.

Chuychenko did not exclude that the document will provoke provocateurs who will publish calls in order to achieve resource blocking. The Committee will not look for a way to warn this opportunity: to fight people who are not scared by the criminal liability provided for such records, it is impossible, said the chairman of the committee Alexei Mitrofanov.
