A program about contemporary art began in Runet

Today, December 16, the premiere of the new Internet project took place-a talk show about contemporary art "late at night with Dyakonov."

The announcement on the YouTube page of the program says that it “tells mainly about the events of the nearest and distant past that have lost the news value, but nevertheless have already become a story that the authors are free to show through the filter of their favorite evening show of American television.”

As the author of the project told COLTA.RU, the artist Antonina Baver , the frequency of the release of the talk show has not yet been determined, but, in all likelihood, it will be released once every two to three weeks. YouTube has already posted the first issue "late at night with Dyakonov."

Valentin Dyakonov (b. 1980) graduated from the RSUGU with a degree in History and Culture Theory, defended his thesis about official and unofficial art in the era of the thaw.

Since 1998, he has been writing about art in specialized publications (“New World of Art”, “Art Khronika”, “Art Guide”, Frieze ). Since 2009 - correspondent of the culture department of the newspaper Kommersant.

Together with Moskultprog (Moscow cultural walks), Valentin Dyakonov conducted a tour of the cradle of the Russian underground - Lianozovo (2006). In 2010, together with Kandower Stiftung (Stuttgart), he organized the exhibition "Big Meetings" of the "Prospekt of Slava" in the XL gallery. In 2012, he opened the “Big Redi-Mide in the World” (aka Yekaterinburg Museum of Extry Arts on Voevodin Street) as part of the 2nd Industrial Biennale in Yekaterinburg. In the same year, he oversaw the project “Philosophy of the Common Affairs” - the art of the twentieth century in the Perm State Art Gallery. In 2013, together with Sergey Nikitin (Moskultprog Bureau), he prepared a bus tour of the street art of Moscow Street Art.
