Bogomolov will put up a performance in Lenkom

Director Konstantin Bogomolov plans to put a performance at the Moscow Theater "Lenkom" at the invitation of his artistic director Mark Zakharov.

“So far, everything is at the stage of discussion. Mark Zakharov is interested in this. If everything turns out, then rehearsals will begin on February 1, ”the theater press service told RIA Novosti .

The premiere can be scheduled for the beginning of the next season - autumn 2014. The choice of dramatic material and the distribution of roles are not yet commented.

Konstantin Bogomolov recently served as an assistant to the artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov, staged performances in this theater, as well as at the Moscow Theater under the leadership of Oleg Tabakov. In November 2013, he resigned from the Moscow Art Theater in connection with the refusal to introduce changes to the play “Karamazovs” at the request of the theater leadership.

Now Bogomolov is rehearsing the performance “Ice” in the Warsaw National Theater, the premiere is scheduled for January 2014. In addition, according to unofficial data, in May 2014, the Bogomolov will put a performance on “Gargantua and Pantagruel” in the Theater of Nations.
