Perm newspaper paid for the publication of a photo of girls from Hitler Youth

The Bereznikovsky City Court of the Perm Territory found guilty of the propaganda and public demonstration of Nazi attributes the editorial office of the Bereznikovsky Worker newspaper, in one of the issues of which an article was posted with a photograph of girls from Hitler Yugen, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office said.

"It was established that a black and white photograph was published on the first lane of this newspaper, which depicts four girls in sportswear, with an image of a black cross with a clock stroke with ends. Thus, this newspaper contains an image of the symbols of Nazi Germany in the form of a swastika," the prosecutor's office noted.

The examination confirmed that the picture depicts the participants of the Hitler Youth. For posting a photograph, the court sentenced both for the editor, who will bear material liability of one thousand rubles, and the publication - at 10 thousand rubles.

Bloggers were the first to complain about the photo of the girls posted in the Bereznikovsky Workers. An ambiguous photo was part of the collage to the material on new bills and programs of the Perm Territory regarding programs for talented and active youth. The fact that the young participants in the Nazi movement were removed in the image, citizens suggested because of the swastika on their T-shirts.

Before the experts, the authenticity of the photograph was determined by bloggers. They quickly found a source - in one of the articles of the "military view" dedicated to the period before the Second World War, the signature under this photo reads: "A group of German girls lined up in a line before the musical culture lesson with the assistance of the Hitler Youth of the Hitler Youth in Berlin, Germany, February 24, 1936."

Hitler-Jugend is the youth organization of the National Socialist Party operating in Nazi Germany. In the education of the Hitler Yugeners, the doctrines of the party and physical education were in the first place. The most loyal to the regime and decisively tuned boys were also studied in special "Fuhrers 'schools" in order to further occupy leading posts in the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
