To the joy of bold and self -critical users striving to self -improve in the social sphere, a unique application appeared - a controller of emotions and behavior during communication in the Google video chat. It is designed to make a person a less boring and not so bad interlocutor.
An appendix called US+ analyzes what and how the user pronounces, quickly signaling if he does not hit any incorrect verbal wilds that reduce the overall quality of communication. Following the tips offered by the machine, the user can save the conversation in time.
For example, if a person will abuse a large number of negatively charged words, the program will advise "try to be more positive." If the user is carried away by a story about himself, forgetting that this dialogue - an attentive utility will ask "to stop talking about himself so much." And if you still do not get enough, then US+ will simply cut down the microphone, letting the interlocutor speak out, writes The Daily Mail .
The application analyzes the content of speech on five scales: "positive", "self-soothes", "aggressiveness", "honesty" and for some reason "femininity". Accordingly, if some parameter goes off scale in one or the other - the program pays attention to this. For example, if these are business negotiations, it can advise "add aggressiveness."
US+ was developed by American artists Lauren McCarthy and Kail McDonald, who are interested in issues of modern communication and optimizing forms of social behavior. As the authors specify, US+ performs a linguistic analysis based on the Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC) program.
