There is a very strong anti-pedophile sentiment in society today. And no wonder. The phenomenon is truly horrendous. The result of the depravity of satiated people who feel their impunity.
As usual, politicians take advantage of any situation to improve their ratings. But the “stick system”, in the absence of real judicial protection, gives rise to abuses no less monstrous in terms of consequences.
I knew a guy who was serving time under a "pedophile" article, who was consistently denied all requests for parole and reduction of the sentence.
Alexey went to prison at the age of 19

His story is simple: as a teenager, he received a suspended sentence. For robbery. Actually, nothing unusual - on a drunken bench I took away a mobile phone from a friend, an hour later they detained me. They gave me four years probation.
He is still terribly embarrassed when I call him a "robber" and ask him to explain why.
He is clearly ashamed of that. He doesn't even want to talk.
Two years passed, he studied. At the age of 18, he met a girl at a disco - a minor. They began to live together. At her parents' house. Hope to get married when possible. But the campaign against pedophilia began. The village is small, everyone knows everything. The district police officer needed a "stick", and he set the matter in motion. And the girl's parents wrote useless appeals, the failed bride herself sobbed at the trial. The judge "understood everything", but she also has a "stick system" and a campaign.
The result is five years, taking into account the unserved probation.
This is the minimum that the judge could give, apart from the fact that the verdict is unfair in principle.
Ira waited for Alexei for two years. They hoped that the court would review the case, that they would release him on parole. Alas, it became obvious that none of the bureaucrats would dare to go against the “line”.
Even dating was impossible.
Two years later, Lesha wrote to Ira: don't wait. And stopped responding to her emails.
I look into his eyes. No, there is no moisture there - there is already an old, deeply hidden despair.
A strong, good-natured guy, which is exactly what strong and simple people are. He was deprived not of freedom but of happiness. He does not grumble, he perceives those who are older, who are the “boss”, as elements. A wave came and left me on the shore - alone, without a home, without a family.
What can you do?
And I am bitter from this hopelessness, from the ruthlessness of our system, from the cries of people who do not want to know the truth and demand one thing: “Crucify!!!”
People, stop, look around! Not everything is so simple and unambiguous.
There were many such unfortunates only on my way. Some are waiting. They wait a long time. They play weddings. In prison. Families have children. And the fathers continue to sit like pedophiles.
What kind of people are we to allow this?
