Municipal deputies of the Moscow district Presnensky Maria Bogomolova, Elena Kravchenko and Elena Tkach proposed to rename part of Kudrinsky lane into the street "Feat" Berkut "

The declared goal of this strange initiative is to show how Muscovites appreciate the defenders of the building of the presidential administration of Ukraine, how they “care about the situation in the neighboring country” and how they are “ready to come to the aid of Ukrainians if necessary.” You would think of yourself, compassionate! Not only that, they, the taxpayers, were deprived of 15 billion dollars, which left the National Wealth Fund to save the regime of the very Ukrainian president, whom Berkut rushed to defend like a kite. So back in those days, the Russian president announced the "circumcision" of the rights of local self-government.

And the “feat of Berkut” itself looks ambiguous. Some people, in whom the especially vigilant participants of the Kyiv Maidan saw the Russians, went to storm the residence of Yanukovych, although the opposition leaders and tens of thousands of protesters did not send them to this embrasure. When information about this reached the rally, those not wanting to support the attack, but striving to stop the bloodshed, rushed to Bankovaya Street, one of the opposition leaders Petro Poroshenko even climbed onto the bulldozer with which the attackers had previously rammed the Berkut's chains. Then the authorities investigating these events announced that they were attended by members of the group of Dmitry Korchinsky, known for his provocations. Now they are looking for him, and on the Internet he refutes information about his presence in Russia ...

In any case, the rescued Yanukovych is now on the hook. But how did the Presnensky deputies find themselves on it?

In our mythological country, few political actors are interested in facts. Someone wants to lean against something declared great, someone to show - "I am mine", someone - "I take into account the national mindset." Although no one has actually revealed these moods, they are introduced, as before - Oginsky's Polonaise in concerts on request. And deputy Elena Tkach, who herself has more than once rushed to defend illegally demolished Moscow architectural rarities under the threat of riot police intervention, signals to Putin’s special forces: “our liver should not be smeared on asphalt, we are only against certain shortcomings of our overall wonderful system.”

And the system can be represented as a universal "spiritual bond" - "The Red Banner of His Imperial Majesty Theological Academy of Pipeline Troops named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky", where the essence is determined by the last word. And the point is not only the recent speculations of sociologists on the topic that the people yearn for the restoration of the bronze Iron Felix, but the fact that the riot police, the Chekist - the gendarmerie! - symbolism has become a clear support of the imposed ideology. We want to be the gendarme of Europe again, we want to keep our citizens and neighbors on the KGB hook. It doesn't matter which party this forward Chekist detachment belongs to, he himself plays the main party.

Therefore, we are simultaneously celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty and releasing 3.5 billion rubles from the budget of the Ministry of Defense for the next restoration of the Aurora cruiser that hit this house. It is quite possible that later, after another discord in the thieves' elite, the sums stolen on this contract will emerge from the Baltic waves. It used to seem to naive people that the bureaucrat had nothing to take away from work, except for paper clips. What about a bureaucrat with a club and a face-protecting helmet?

The Chekist myth can be opposed, at least in the spiritual space, by another local initiative. They are in a hurry to restore the memorial plaques to Brezhnev and Andropov, and we (not veterans of searches and executions, but ordinary citizens) will remember all those who were tortured. “The last address” is the name of the initiative of politically active citizens who propose to hang memorial plaques on the houses where the victims of the Chekist terror lived.
