
The ATR-42 passenger aircraft, which performed a flight from Naryan-Mar (Nenets Autonomous Okrug) to Arkhangelsk, returned to the departure airport due to the refusal of the left engine, having made an emergency landing, a source in the emergency services of the Naryan-Mar airport told Interfax .
"The plane flew to Arkhangelsk at 10:40 Moscow time. After the departure, the alarm about the refusal of the left engine worked, and the crew decided to return to the departure airport," the source said.
Landing was normal, none of the passengers and crew members were injured.
