The sons of two Turkish ministers were arrested for bribes

In Turkey, the sons of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the head of the Ministry of Economy were charged with involvement in a loud corruption scandal. By a decision of the Istanbul court, the children of ministers are placed in custody, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to Turkish TV.

This is the first time that the scandal of this scale touched the directly encirclement of Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, heading the Turkish government since 2002.

According to the DHA news agency, Erdogan intends to significantly reorganize the government. They may lose their posts up to half of the ministers, including those who were suspicious of a corruption scandal.
