“They lived and worked there, Boris Strugatsky went to work for many years towards the observatory. This place is saturated with the spirit of the Strugatsky, ”said Alexei Vladimirovich, a member of the toponymic commission.
The name of the Strugatsky brothers has already been assigned to Library No. 2 of the Moscow District, located on the Moscow highway.

Also, the toponymic commission of St. Petersburg recommended that the first streets of the created alluvial territories on Vasilievsky Island in honor of the writers Alexander Green and Vadim Shefner, and the Soviet streets in Kolpino to rename it into historical, Interfax reports.
In particular, Volodarsky Street will become Admiralteyskaya Street, Karl Marx Street - Preobrazhenskaya, Kommuna Street - Slavyanskaya, camp highway will be renamed Voznesenskoye, Lenin Avenue to Tsarskoye Selsky Prospekt, Labor Street will be called Trinity, and Uritsky Street will be Cathedral.
