A few hours earlier, criminal cases were discontinued against British Anthony Perret, New Zealand, Jonathan Busham and Tourchanka Gigra Aham. Thus, a third of Greenpeace activists received decisions on the termination of criminal cases.

On December 24, information appeared in the media that the case against the captain of the vessel Peter Wilkox was already terminated then, but Greenpeace denied this information.

“The information could spread due to the fact that all members of the information are appointed meetings in the FSIN. However, the case does not stop before the amnesty decision, ”Maria Favorskaya, spokeswoman for Greenpeace explained The New Times.

Taborskaya added that most crew members will be released on December 25, and their return home will depend on how quickly the FMS will prepare the necessary documents.
