Russian convicts will put in new clothes

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation determined the necessary list of clothing allocated by the state by the prisoners of correctional colonies and prisons. This was reported by the press service of the department.

The corresponding order “On the approval of the norms of the clothing allowance of convicts to imprisonment and persons contained in the investigative insulators” was registered by the Ministry of Justice on December 19 of the current year.

The document published “Descriptions of clothing, shoes and bedding” planned for use by prisoners contained in correctional institutions, as well as in investigative insulators.

The press release indicates that women who are detained will be provided with fitted blouses with short sleeves, straight skirts, scarves, half-bots and jackets “with scrapes on the sides at the waist level”. In the cold season, they will be given a half -wrapper with an artificial fur collar, dense trousers, a scarf on his head, gloves and winter boots.

The men's kit will include thick soles, cap, as well as a gray jacket on buttons with pockets and trousers. For the winter, insulated trousers, a earflap and a jacket with an artificial fur collar are provided.
