“This exhibition was planned for a long time and has long been preparing,” said Vasily Melnichenko. - For Omsk, we collected a separate exposition and put up. The opening took place on December 18. There was an image of a certain person similar to Putin - he eats the brain, sniffs the brain or kisses, completely incomprehensible, simply holds in his hands a red brain in front of his mouth - the work is called "life as it is." There was also the work of the Finnish street artist, who comes to St. Petersburg to draw on the walls, he portrayed Putin in the form of a dwarf rapper. In fact, this exhibition represented all the spectra, there were Orthodox people with their graffiti, there were racists who called for love to love their race, but there was nothing that would go beyond the law, called or infringed on someone's rights.
According to Vasily Melnichenko, unknown people photographed Putin’s images, and immediately after the opening on one of the portals there was information that the exhibition “causes indignation among Omsk”, because Mr. President “is presented there in an unsightly light”. The head of the museum and the organizer of the exhibition is convinced that they began this process on the "protection of the presidential honor" in the Omsk branch of "Just Russia".
