If A. Osipov and B. Gongalsky's court hearing on November 22 ended with a fine of 10 thousand rubles, then the story of the accusation of Ilya Khudyakov and Alexander Mayevsky stretched until December.

Let us remind you that the guys were detained on September 18, 2013 at about 18:00 near the State Duma during the “festivities” of scientists, which took place in the form of a meeting with deputies from the Communist Party faction. Several young guys decided to move the funeral wreath and the tombstone “RAN 1724-2013” ​​closer to the entrance to the State Duma, others laid carnations to this tombstone. IMLI graduate student, expert on Dante’s Divine Comedy Alexander Mayevsky and MITHT undergraduate graduate Ilya Khudyakov were detained by the police. Symbols of the “funeral of the Russian Academy of Sciences”—a wreath and a tombstone—were also confiscated.

After some time, Ilya Vorontsov, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University, tried to find the guys in the paddy wagons parked not far from the parliament. He didn’t find them and began asking the colonel with badge 043397 why the guys were detained, and even accused of breaking the law. It all ended with the fact that, on the orders of this colonel, several police officers detained Ilya himself.

Closer to 22:00, the guys were finally released. If Ilya Vorontsov was released after a formal conversation without presenting a protocol, then Ilya Khudyakov and Alexander Mayevsky were charged under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for violating the rules of picketing.

The petitions prepared by A. Mayevsky and his defense lawyer for November 18 to include photo and video materials in the case, as well as testimonies of defense witnesses, Judge T.V. Neverova rejected. Only two were listened to favorably - policemen A.M. Kapustin and A.Yu. Tribunov, by order of Z.V. Grigoryan detained a graduate student of the IMLI RAS with a carnation in his hand. The judge thought and decided: guilty... Fine - 15 thousand rubles. An appeal to the Moscow City Court on December 12 did not overturn the decision.

On December 6 and 13, the same scenario was repeated in relation to Ilya Khudyakov: first, the police officers - witnesses for the prosecution - did not appear, then they were not there for a good reason (one was on a business trip, the other was on vacation). On December 20, a court hearing in the Tverskoy District Court chaired by A.Yu. Orekhova ended with a ruling: guilty. Fine - 15 thousand rubles. Ilya plans to appeal to the Moscow City Court, and if unsuccessful, move on to get his criminal record cleared.
