Americans boasted about the weapons they received for Christmas on social networks
Residents of the United States showed off the firearms they received for Christmas on social networks. reports this BuzzFeed .

In recent years, the United States has consistently ranked first in the world in the number of firearms in private hands. The right to own such means of self-defense is enshrined in the country's constitution.
According to BuzzFeed, various variants of the AR-15 autoloading rifle have become a popular Christmas gift in the United States this year. They were packed in wrapping paper or even repainted in bright colors if the recipient of the formidable sign of attention was a girl.
Some Americans have boasted rifles for hunting on social media, but the AR-15 is unsuitable for this type of activity: it has been in production since 1963 and is known primarily as a civilian self-defense weapon .
The rights to the AR-15 design are owned by Colt's Manufacturing Co, Inc, but various versions of it are produced under other names by other manufacturers: most often such rifles are called "AR-15 type".
