Antifa-Rash case is closed according to the amnesty

The judge of the Nizhny Novgorod District Court of Nizhny Novgorod Marina Dyakina stopped the case of the anti-fascists, which, according to the investigation, in the Antifa-Rash group, was on the amnesty. This was reported by Lenta.ru with reference to the lawyer Yevgeny Gubin, who defended one of the accused - Pavel Krivonosov. The criminal prosecution of Krivonosov and two other defendants - Oleg Gambaruk and Dmitry Kolesov - was discontinued.

At the same time, two other defendants remain on the wanted list-Artem Bystrov, who escaped from house arrest, and Albert Gainutdinov, who, according to the investigation, headed Antifa-Rash. Cases against them are allocated in separate proceedings.

Anti -fascists were charged with Article 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism). The accused under this article is subject to amnesties announced for the 20th anniversary of the Constitution.

The defendants also denied the existence of the Antifa-Rash group, stating that this organization was specially invented by the CPE staff in order to get an occasion for the criminal prosecution of activists. The operatives printed the certificates of Antifa-Rash members to prove the real existence of the group. The certificates were thrown by the accused during the search.

The process began in March 2012. In October 2012, the Nizhny Novgorod District Court returned the case to the prosecutor to eliminate violations, but the regional court canceled this decision and re-sent the case to the first instance. Article 115 (causing easy harm to health) and 116 of the Criminal Code (beatings) were also originally charged, but in March 2013, the persecution of these articles was completed at the expiration of the statute of limitations.
