The verdict in the Antifa-Rash case

On December 27, at 10 o’clock in the Nizhny Novgorod District Court of Nizhny Novgorod (Plotnichny Lane, house 38), the sentence in the Antifa-Rash case will be announced. The verdict was supposed to be read out on November 26, but the meeting was postponed.

Judge Marina Dyakina will decide the fate of the Nizhny Novgorod anti-fascists Pavel Krivonosov, Dmitry Kolesov and Oleg Gembaruk, accused of creating an extremist community "Antifa-Rash", delaying beatings and hooliganism. All defendants insisted that the mythical organization was specially invented by employees of the E -E Center to find a reason for criminal prosecution. Employees of the Center "E" even made the certificates of Antifa-Rash members to prove its reality. The certificates were thrown by the accused during the search.

The process began in March 2012. In October 2012, the Nizhny Novgorod District Court returned the case to the prosecutor’s office to eliminate violations, but the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court canceled this decision and repeatedly sent the case to the same court. In March 2013, the charges of beatings were removed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

According to investigators, Krivonosov participated in a fight with a young man and a girl on June 23, 2010 at the Street Golovnin stop. The accused did not plead guilty, underwent a study on the polygraph, which showed that he had never beaten girls, did not beat anyone with a stick - it was such accusations that are contained in the text of the indictment. Kolesov and Gembroruk partially pleaded guilty to articles 115 and 116, telling the court that they really fought with the nationalist Dmitry Redkin on October 31, 2010, but the fight was everyday in nature. According to the 213 article by Kolesov and Gembroruk, they did not admit their guilt.
