Kommersant: Serdyukov can become a defendant of another criminal case

Ex-Minister of Defense Anatoly Serdyukov can become a defendant in another criminal case, about the sale of land plots in several areas of land that did not even belong to the military department, Kommersant reports.

The case was based on the audit of military prosecutors, according to which Serdyukov did not have the right to allow the sale of forest plots of the military training ground in the Leningrad and Moscow regions given to cottage development, since they belonged not to the military, but to the Rosleskhoz.

In addition, investigators were issued by the sale of a plot of 11 thousand square meters of the Bolshaya Neva river, the sale of which is categorically prohibited by the Land Code.

According to the publication, in the determination of the defendants in the second case, the testimony of Evgenia Vasilyeva, the main accused in the case of Oboronservice, can play an important role.

Now Serdyukov is accused of negligence on the sale of a landscaping database “Zhitnaya” by the husband of the sister of ex-minister Valery Puzikova.
