The Gogol Center, at the request of the Moscow authorities, canceled the show of the film about Pussy Riot and a meeting with the group members. The artistic director of the Center Kirill Serebrennikov published a letter from the head of the Moscow Department of Culture Sergei Kapkov, in which he requires the event with the participation of "persons that cause such an ambiguous reaction and whose activities are based on provocations of society."

On December 29, after the show of the documentary “Showing process: the story of Pussy Riot” a round table was planned with the participation of Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alekhina and the director of the picture of Maxim Pozdrovkin. Irina Prokhorova was supposed to conduct a discussion.
