Putin signed the Law on Pension Reform

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed laws on pension reform, according to which the country establishes a new procedure for charging pensions since 2015 and the calculation of pensions in points. Documents are published in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta .

Pension coefficients (points) will have to be calculated based on the level of wages, length of service and retirement age. At the same time, the minimum experience for receiving a retirement pension will be 15 years by 2025, although now it is 5 years. The minimum threshold of points is 30.

At the same time, the labor pension is divided into insurance and funded. For those born until 1967, only the insurance part of the pension will operate, and the rest will be able to choose which pension they will receive.

Pensions for working pensioners will also be recalculated. For those who have a salary does not exceed 18 thousand rubles, the recalculation will be one hundred percent, for the rest it will be limited to three points.
