A 55-year-old resident of the village of Sofievskaya Borshchagovka, located in the suburbs of Kyiv, died in a battle with criminals who specialized in robbing the apartments of homosexuals. This was reported by GorodKiev.com.ua .

As the police said, the robbers, immigrants from the CIS countries aged 21 and 22, met men who preferred same-sex relationships on the Internet. Having made a new acquaintance, they met the victim and offered alcohol to which they added sleeping pills. Then, when the man fell asleep, they stole valuables from his house. The calculation of the criminals was that the injured homosexuals would not contact the police for fear of publicity.

However, in this case, the plan did not work: the sleeping pills had no effect on the mentioned 55-year-old man. “The man even began to insist on intimate relationships with his night visitors,” the head of the district police, Fyodor Krasnoyarov, describes what happened. — The guys began to defend themselves - one of them hit him on the head with a bottle. Then the owner of the apartment grabbed a knife and attacked his offenders. One of the guys pulled out a knife and randomly began striking the victim’s body.”

Having dealt with the victim, the robbers took two phones and 200 hryvnia, and then left for Kyiv. The body of the deceased man was later discovered by his relative. During the investigation of the murder, it turned out that the criminals left the capital and moved to the city of Izmail, Odessa region. There they were detained.

The detainees are currently giving evidence. They are checked for committing other crimes in the Kyiv region and Ukraine as a whole.
