The City Court of St. Petersburg left Bondarik in a pre -trial detention center

The City Court of St. Petersburg rejected the arrest of the arrest of the Russian party leader Nikolai Bondarik, accused of organizing provocations on the day of the celebration of Id al-Adha (Kurban-Bayrama). This was reported by RAPSI with reference to the lawyer of the nationalist Svetlana Ratnikov. Thus, the December decision of the Vyborg District Court of the city is upheld and Bondarik will be in custody at least until February 15.

“I am glad that this time the meeting took place in open mode,” said Ratnikova.

Bondarik found a closed form of tuberculosis. It is contained in the SIZO-6 in the village of Gorelovo, the Leningrad Region, since there is a tuberculous hospital in this isolator, and drug treatment takes place for about three months.

On October 16, Bondarik was detained in St. Petersburg and arrested the next day. The court hearing was held closed at the request of an investigator who exiled to the need to ensure the safety of witnesses, information about the place of residence of which is contained in the case file. Witnesses in the case are persons who caused their injuries in order to pass them out for traces of attacks. According to the investigation, they gave exposing testimonies against Bondarik.

On October 23, Bondarik was charged . He is charged with two episodes with the same qualification under paragraph "in" part 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (excitement by an organized group of hatred and enmity on the grounds of nationality and attitude to religion), which provides for up to five years of the colony.

According to investigators, Bondarik bowed a 16-year-old teenager to injure his hand with a knife, and then posted on the Internet false information about the attacks committed on a teenager for national motives. In addition, Bondarik is suspected of suggesting to a certain Vasily Baranov for 20 thousand rubles to allow himself to injure himself from traumatic weapons. On October 15, near the stall on the Prospekt Avenue, the Bondarik's accomplices caused Baranov a firearm wound to the back. After that, Baranov told the policemen and doctors that the seller of the stall wounded him.

The investigation believes that this information was used by the participants of the criminal group organized by Bondarik "to arouse hatred and enmity to immigrants from the regions of Central Asia and the Caucasus, as well as to persons professing the Muslim religion."

On November 13, the St. Petersburg City Court canceled the decision of the district court on the arrest of Bondarik. The case was aimed at a new consideration. However, the court of first instance again decided to arrest the accused during the investigation.

Also, the investigation was rejected by the petition of Bondarik’s lawyer for confrontation with witnesses and to verify the polygraph of all three defendants in the case.
