Extension of arrest for paralyzed Vladimir Topekhin

The toilet is a hose and a catheter. He has not washed for a month. He cannot brush his teeth on his own. They wiped him with a wet towel. motionless person."

On December 9, Topekhin was sent from "Matrosskaya Tishina" to the guarded department of the 20th city hospital. Meanwhile, since that time, the lawyer of the Agora association, Svetlana Sidorkina, who undertook to represent the interests of the prisoner, was denied a meeting with her client . The convoy required the permission of the court or the investigator. Sidorkina sent an urgent application to the European Court of Human Rights with a request to demand the immediate release of Topekhin from custody, noting that imprisonment poses a threat to the life of the prisoner.

In mid-December, Topekhin was returned from the hospital to Matroska.

The trial in the Topekhin case has already been postponed five times because of the refusal of the convoy to deliver the bedridden patient.
