Reform recipe

Russia entered in 2014 without the Academy of Sciences. Formally, it has been preserved, but in reality that de Sissy of the Academy, which has existed for centuries, is no more. In its place, a club of directors and scientists, devoid of power, property and all the lower units, who was bloated. That is, its basis.

Good would be transferred to another scientific community. But they are transferred to the department of government officials who have been in the collection and deed of financial revenues. It is clearly shown that nothing except the wealth of the Academy is interested in the state. And this club will go through a one -time production of members of the scores and members of the industry academies to all -Russian academics. This private operation was invented to devalue the title of academician. Once King Paul, wanting to humiliate the obstinate feldmarshal Suvorov, but embarrassed to punish him personally, produced 12 generals in Field Marshals.

There is another huge organization in the country, even more ancient and rich and formally equally independent, also based on a certain branch of knowledge - this is the Church, the Russian Orthodox Church. To her, the recipe, now applied to the Academy of Sciences, was already applied twice - during the time of Peter and in Soviet times. Peter had motives for this reform both ideological and economic. The church was in no hurry to rebuild in a European way, and finances were needed for warfare. Peter dispersed her wealth, poured even her bells to the guns and threw her the patriarch.

The Soviet government even more radically cleansed the bins of the church, took away most of its buildings, changed their own personnel, and its hierarchs almost paid off the security organs, restoring the post of Patriarch, who has not competed with power since then, but helped it. Now the church is in favor. How long?

Let's try to imagine that the same recipe for the reform, only improved and modernized on the experience of treating the Academy, will apply to her again, for the third time. After all, everyone talks about the need for church reform, that the Russian Orthodox Church is lagging behind life, mired into luxury, is afraid of competition with other churches.

No need to flatter yourself and calm down that there are no signs of such a turn of fate. Everything will be done suddenly, as a secret operation - exactly with the Academy of Sciences. Moreover, assistance from the church in the case of patriotic education, in the case of propaganda and so on, will not be taken into account. Has the Academy of Sciences land it? The main thing that will be taken into account is the wealth that the state needs.

Formally, of course, religion and the church will be preserved. The patriarch will be re -elected, archbishops and bishops will be surrounded, they will increase the content and turn them into a permanent great cathedral, and for the greatestness they will join the cardinals to them (enough to obey them), also ayatall, senior mullahs and the main rabbis. They already collaborate, so there will be more dense cooperation: they have one God. You can include the main shamans. They have some disagreements about how and who to pray, well, this will be a good reason for a long and fruitful discussion.

Only all the churches and monasteries will be taken from them and retract them to the state agency with a financier at the head who will regulate financial flows. That is, all the priests will remain in their places, the services will be performed, only the priests will not obey the bishops, but the finality and the counting chamber.

Of course, officials will re -conduct cash treasures and find them the best use. Buildings and land plots will also go to another knowledge, and the Holy Fathers will be released from this trouble so that they can free themselves for lessons exclusively by science ... that is, theology and prayers for all of us.

Perhaps theological departments will be removed from physical universities and transfer financial and economic universities to universities. I don’t know if they are more appropriate there, but after such a reform there they will be clearly needed.

The experience, however, teaches that after each such reform, the Church again appeared permanently in the same forms, and everything returned to its own circles. So maybe the academy has a chance? “And we are sages and poets/ Keepers of Secrets and Vera/ Take the lighted lights/ into catacombs, deserts, caves” ...
