The State Duma wants to allow the FSB to conduct a personal search of citizens, their things and vehicles. Now only the police have such a right. According to Kommersant, this is one of the measures provided for by the next package of anti -terrorism bills. On Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports, the documents were submitted to the lower ward.

The package was developed by deputies of all four Duma factions. Its authors are Unicorn Irina Yarovaya, Communist Oleg Denisenko, Zhirinovets Andrei Lugova and reference Leonid Levin. The bills were prepared in close cooperation with law enforcement agencies, Yarovaya said.

The documents are amended by the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offenses, as well as a number of federal laws, including "On communication", "On the FSB" and "On counteracting terrorism."

Among the proposed innovations - tightening punishments up to a life sentence under articles on the promotion of terrorism, public calls for terrorism, teaching terrorist activities, creating a terrorist organization and participating in it. Deputies want to introduce the same sanctions for the theft of an airplane or train and for attacks on persons and institutions that enjoy international protection. The deputies also want to foresee lifelong terms for a violent seizure of power and armed rebellion.

The motive for propaganda, justification or support of terrorism is proposed to be recognized as a aggravating circumstance when considering criminal cases. In addition, deputies include “destabilization of the activities of authorities” among the criteria of terrorist activities.

Hosting providers, owners of sites and other persons whose circle is proposed to be determined to the government, according to new norms, should be imputed in the obligation to store data on the acceptance, transfer, delivery and processing of various electronic information within six months. They will have to provide this information at the request of the security forces. The norm is supposed to be extended not only to domestic, but also to foreign resources operating in Russia.

The deputies also want to reduce the permissible amounts of transfer through non-penunized payment funds, such as Yandex-wallet or prepaid plastic cards. The Limit of Transports within the country is proposed to reduce from 40 thousand to 15 thousand per month, while limiting payments to the amount of 1 thousand rubles during the working day. Deputies consider cross -border transfers to be prohibited.

The threshold amount is also reduced in the consumption of which non -profit organizations should be reported. Now it is 200 thousand rubles - it is proposed to reduce to 100 thousand.

The proposed measures will be unpopular, ”said deputy Denisenko, but they are necessary for special services to prevent terrorist attacks.

In the Kremlin, the initiative was supported. “We welcome measures that are aimed at strengthening state security,” a certain official of the presidential administration noted to Kommersant.
