On the bench of the defendants - six young people. Four of them - Vladimir Ilyutikov, Maxim Kirillov, Alexander Kovtun and Roman Savchenko - were arrested in June 2010 on suspicion of attacks on policemen. The two remaining - Vadim Kovtun and Alexei Nikitin - were originally not mentioned among the "partisans" and were detained later.
The “partisans”, depending on the role of each, were charged with banditry, illegal acquisition, storage, weapons, three episodes of murder, four episodes of robbery, intentional destruction of other people's property, three episodes of law enforcement officials, the embezzlement of weapons, nine episodes of theft, and vehicles. Under part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder), each of them faces a conclusion up to a lifelong. The same punishment threatens Alexander Kovtun and Savchenko under Article 317 (an encroachment on the life of an employee of a law enforcement authority).
Clause 1 of Article 209 (organization of the gang) was also imputed by Alexander Kovtun, and the rest of the defendant - paragraph 2 of the same article (participation in the gang). Meanwhile, cases under the 209th article were not aroused against partisans and, according to the Code of Criminal Procedure, the investigation on it cannot be carried out. Judge Grishchenko, however, did not consider this violation by the basis for returning the case to the prosecutor's office.
It is also known that the hard drive of a computer seized from Nikitin is replaced . An important information was stored on the disk, which could confirm Alibi the defendant, as well as help other accused. At a meeting in June 2013, the prosecution showed a photo from this medium. When in the future the disk was required, it turned out that there was no data on it. In the future, it turned out that the carrier was replaced. The perpetrators were not established.
In the summer of 2012 , three volumes disappeared from the case of partisans . Their location has not yet been established. The court works with copies of materials included in these volumes. Meanwhile, in one of these volumes there was an original turnout with a guilty written by Nikitin after detention. On the document, traces of blood were clearly visible.
The debate of the parties in the Partizan case began on December 20, 2013. Ilyutikov does not participate in them, since Grishchenko removed him from the courtroom until the end of the debate in early September. The judge took such a step after the accused began to talk about the torture that he was subjected to during the investigation. In the presence of jury, it is unacceptable to talk about investigation methods, Grishchenko commented on his decision.
At the last meeting on December 25, the judge stopped the persecution of all defendants, except for Savchenko, on a number of insignificant episodes after the statute of limitations. On the same basis, Alexander Kovtun was removed the charge of escaping from custody.
In February - May 2010, a number of armed attacks on police officers occurred in Primorye. According to the investigation, all attacks were committed by one group, which included eight people. Two of the Partisans - Andrei Sukhorada and Alexander School - died on June 11, 2010 in Ussuriysk during the detention.
In the future, the Primorsky Partizans were accused of a number of other crimes committed in the region since September 2009.
In January 2013, after the announcement of the indictment, Ilyutikov and Kirillov announced partial confession of guilt . The rest of the defendants do not admit guilt.
