Participant of protest in the Kopeysk IK-6 is transferred to the torture colony

The prisoner of the Kopeysk IK-6 Evgeny Terekhin, who was attracted by the Criminal Code under Article 212 of the Criminal Code for participation in the protest of the convicts, is transferred from the DSLR-1 Chelyabinsk to the torture IK-5 in Nizhny Tagil, and the Sverdlovsk region. It is reported in his blog by human rights activist Oksana Trufanova. The resolution on the transfer of Terekhin was issued by the investigator of the Office of the Investigative Committee in the Ural Federal District Ivanov.

On January 14, the convict was sent to the stage. Before that, he swallowed a blade and nail tongs in protest. Nevertheless, they did not put him in the hospital. The administration of the Directorate of Trufanova admitted that they were forced to refuse the prisoner to hospitalize under the pressure of the investigation.

"We are still afraid that all this will end poorly: all the prisoners who are transferred to IK -5 are in a terrible psychological state - suicides are possible," the human rights activist said.

Terekhin is not the first person involved in the Kopeysk Swamp business, which was sent to IK -5. Trufanova mentioned three more accused, also transferred to Nizhny Tagil. At the same time, as the human rights activist repeatedly noted, she does not understand what investigative actions can be carried out in the Sverdlovsk region if the protest was held in Chelyabinsk. Sending the defendants in the case to IK-5, the investigation is trying to knock out the necessary testimonies from them, along the way, making help from lawyers and human rights activists along the way, concluded Trufanova.

Meanwhile, Terekhin has not yet reached Nizhny Tagil. As a member of the PMC of the Sverdlovsk region, Vasily Rybakov, writes in his blog, now the prisoner is in the IK-2 medical unit in Yekaterinburg. It turned out that Terekhin announced a hunger strike in protest against the actions of the TFR. Rybakov explained to the prisoner that the colony administration should be notified of this, and handed over the statement written by Terekhin to the FSINITS.

Zek did not complain about the employees of IK-2, but noticed that he was afraid of his life. According to him, the investigator stated that the prisoner was transferred to the Sverdlovsk region precisely for the purpose of physical reprisal. Rybakov promised the colony administration to closely monitor the fate of Terekhin.

The protest in IK-6 in Kopeisk was held on November 24-26, 2012. The prisoners captured the tower in the industrial zone, where they stretched the poster "people, help." Banners were posted from the roofs of the buildings that 1,500 people participate in the action against torture and extortion. In the morning of November 24, several hundred relatives of the prisoners gathered behind the barrier colony. They demanded to remove riot police and blocked the road. It was reported that they turned the police UAZ. The police harshly stopped the action, many of its participants were beaten and detained. Then they beaten and arrived at the colony Trufanov.

On February 18, 2013, the Investigative Committee initiated a case with riot police under paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (organization of riots and participation in them). Earlier, immediately after the events in IK-6, the case was opened under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of violence in relation to a representative of the authorities). It was reported that the Investigative Department plans to combine both cases into one production.

In the "Kopeysk Swamp case", both the convicts of the IK-6 and the relatives of some convicts were involved.
