A full -wheel drive version of the Seat Leon st station wagon debuted in Vienna

At the SEAT, passing in Vienna, SEAT introduced the all -wheel drive version of the SEAT Leon ST station wagon, reports LiveCars.ru .

The novelty is equipped with two TDI engines with a capacity of 105 and 150 horsepower (the volume of engines - 1.6 and 2 liters, respectively). The average fuel consumption of an all -wheel drive station wagon with a less powerful unit is 4.5 liters per hundred kilometers, and with a 150 -horsepower diesel - 4.8 liters per hundred kilometers.

The permanent all -wheel drive system on the new Leon ST 4DRive is combined with a dynamic stabilization system, an electronic course stability system, an electronic imitation of differential blocking and emergency braking system.

Under normal conditions, most of the engine power is transmitted to the front wheels. When slipping the front wheels, the torque is redistributed for a few milliseconds to the rear axle.

The Seat Leon ST 4DRive with a 105-horsepower engine will appear on the European market in April 2014. In the summer, a 150-horsepower station wagon will join him. In Russia, the novelty will appear no earlier than 2015.
