On the 70th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad, officials decided to arrange "reconstruction" and release the medal "The winner of the blockade"
This anniversary is one of those undoubted, before which they include the heads of the right, left -handed, and statesmen, and anarchists. The blockade is pain, horror, unprecedented tragedy and unprecedented resistance, the price of which, however, preferred to keep silent before perestroika.
But a couple of months before the anniversary somewhere upstairs they suddenly decided that the words "Removing the blockade of Leningrad" were somehow short or uninformative. Officials came up with a new wording that striking with clumsy stationery multi-sophistication: "The day of the full liberation of the Soviet troops of the city of Leningrad from the blockade of its Nazi troops." Then the inscription was slightly cut, and it turned out: "The day of the complete liberation of the city of Leningrad from the blockade of its Nazi troops." That is, the mention of the Soviet Army was removed, and ambiguity came out: did not the Nazi troops liberated Leningrad from the blockade? By meaning, it turns out that so. The scandal, noise, officials dumped everything on the designer. Now 80 posters and 2000 stickers in the subway are ordered to replace.
Another scandal broke out about a perky idea to arrange a blockade reconstruction. Not just "historical reconstruction, installations and exhibitions that convey the atmosphere of the life of the besieged Leningrad", but also "with the involvement of residents and guests of the city." People began to ask: how is it? They will cut down the light and water, the shops will be closed, they will carry each other in the form of corpses on the sledges? True, it is not clear who will produce shelling. Officials from the macabra fought back - they say, we just want to remind you how it was - we’ll put the anti -tank hedgehog there, here we will take part of the blockade radio studio on the street, we will show all kinds of performances, we will let the blockade tram, we’ll bring the field kitchens - what is bad? True, there were no hedgehogs on that street, and the concepts of "field kitchen" and "blockade" do not really combine. Yes, the point is not even that where it stood, but that reconstruction is a game, but there are things where the game is inappropriate in principle. The journalist and deputy of the city parliament Boris Vishnevsky said more precisely: "After all, they do not suit the reconstruction in Auschwitz!" And he suggested that if officials are so happy about the blockade memory - first of all, to stop lying about it, publish the real figures of the victims, restore the blockade museum, which was defeated after the war, where there were 37 halls, and after recovery in 1989 there was only one. To publish in large editions of the memoirs of the blockade, and finally stop the long -term shame when the city allocates many millions to celebrate the anniversaries and flatly refuses to distribute 3 thousand rubles to those that have not lived in a blockade city for 4 months and, formally, no blockade - well, they took it out of here in half a dead state, and okay.
At the same time, in St. Petersburg, events begin that even officials are not able to spoil. January 18, on the 71st anniversary of the breakthrough of the blockade, the city "Candle of Memory" takes place in the city. Candles are lit at the memorial sign "Blockade Wallpling", on the Fontanka embankment near the house No. 21. It was the flame of candles lit in a place where people depleted from hunger went with terrible frosty winters for water, as if illuminating all the further events of this decade of memory. On the same day, Petersburgers will be able to see the restored bunker, in the summer and autumn of 1943, which was part of the southern line of defense of Leningrad "Izhora". Here, the field kitchen and other elements of reconstruction are appropriate there. There will be a lot of events until January 27, and official, including the parade and governor's reception, and chamber.
And yet, the avalanche of embarrassment does not seem to be stopped. Simultaneously with ambiguous posters, the city authorities showed an advertisement for the advertisement of the goods of German brands from the central streets of St. Petersburg and near the city cemeteries. Some companies confirmed the receipt of such a letter, some do not know about it, but everyone was amazed. In fact, if the blockade insults the advertisement of German goods on the anniversary of the breakthrough and the removal of the blockade, then how can they calmly go past her on other days? What if their children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors drive BMW and Volkswagen cars? The letter "On German Advertising" was published in the Fontanka Internet newspaper, but the authorities disowned it-they said that they did not write any such letter in the city center of advertising, in the very center it was assumed that some resettled employee could do this on the institution’s form.
Well, okay, the designer is to blame, there is an unknown pest here, but - apparently, in order to finish everyone already - some unidentified Moscow wise men ordered 200 medals to the local coin courtyard: "The winner of the blockade of Leningrad."
