The co -chair of the RPR -Parnas Vladimir Ryzhkov creates a new party - "Republicans of Russia". This was reported by Lenta.ru with reference to the list of current organizing committees of political parties, published on the Ministry of Justice's website. The authorized person of the Organizing Committee of the Republicans of Russia in the document was named Assistant Ryzhkov Vladimir Koptsev. The organizing committee began work on December 28, 2013, and on December 31 the corresponding notice was received by the ministry.

In response to the question of the publication, whether the formation of a new party should be understood as a result of a split in the RPR-Parnas, Kopsev noted that "will not be fortunate." "Inside the RPR -Parnas, the discussion continues, the point in it has not yet been set," said the functionary.

Ryzhkov himself was inaccessible to comments.

The conflict in the leadership of the RPR-Parnas has recently been reported by different publications. Last week, the Independent Gazeta wrote that Ryzhkov demanded from the other two co -chairs - Boris Nemtsov and Mikhail Kasyanov - to take a more moderate position in relations with the Kremlin, to refuse to cooperate with the leader of the people's alliance Alexei Navalny, and to exclude the party Ilya Yashin from the Federal Political Council of the party. Nemtsov and Kasyanov rejected these requirements. As the newspaper reported, the fate of the RPR-Parnas will decide at a meeting of the political council in February.

Kommersant wrote on Monday that Ryzhkov and his supporters intend to leave the party. At the same time, the publication noted, the conflict has not only an ideological, but also a hardware background: Ryzhkov seeks the right to block the decisions of his colleagues. According to the newspaper, however, the official statement on the exit may not be made at the February meeting of the political council, but at the extraordinary congress of the RPR-Parnas, which is planned to be held in April or May.

The RPR-Parnas was formed in June 2012 as a result of the association of the Party of People's Freedom (Parnas) and the Republican Party of Russia. A month earlier, the Ministry of Justice restored the state registration of the RPR, which she was deprived of in 2007. In August 2012, the United Party of the RPR-Parnas also received registration.
