Responsibility for the situation in Ukraine , where fierce clashes of protesters and law enforcement officers in the center of Kiev threatens to result in a serious political crisis, carry Western politicians, as well as radical opposition representatives, according to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the draft statement of the lower house of the parliament "On exacerbation of the situation in Ukraine."
“The responsibility for the aggravation of the situation in Ukraine, in addition to representatives of the extremist part of the opposition, is also carried out by Western politicians who are roughly interfering in the internal affairs of sovereign Ukraine, performing at rallies organized by the opposition,” Interfax quotes the document that Russian deputies are going to accept at the meeting on January 22.
At the same time, the deputies decided to emphasize the proximity of Moscow and Kyiv. "Deputies of the State Duma support the decision of the Russian leadership to provide Ukraine with a stabilization loan and reduce gas prices without any political conditions in order to support the fraternal Ukrainian people, " RIA Novosti cites.

The State Duma intends to once again warn about the inadmissibility of external pressure on Ukraine, imposing a geopolitical choice in favor of an association with the European Union. "The opening prospects for getting out of the financial and economic crisis, restoration and development of the national economy, and a qualitative improvement in the life of the population of Ukraine are impossible in the context of an increasing confrontation," the draft statement emphasizes.
The State Duma intends to call for foreign political circles, "which, in violation of international law, intervenes in the internal affairs of sovereign Ukraine, to stop assisting the further escalation of the conflict."
The draft statement notes that the State Duma deputies are alarming as a wave of civil conflict is overwhelming a neighboring country. "The actions of the protest movement acquire an increasingly large -scale and aggressive nature. Assistance, there are attempts to overthrow the legitimate institutions of the authorities in the country by force," the State Duma deputies see the situation in Ukraine. They regret to state that the aggravation of the situation provoke and use representatives of the opposition, "who cynically call themselves supporters of democracy."
