On January 20, the governor’s decree “On Amendments to clause 6 of the structure of the executive bodies of state power of the Arkhangelsk region and to paragraph 3 of the list of territorial executive bodies of state power of the Arkhangelsk region” entered into force.

In accordance with the Decree, the regional Ministry of Agriculture became called the Ministry of Agro -Industrial Complex and Trade. Also, appropriate changes will be made to the regulations on the ministry and the internal structure of the executive body.

According to the Minister of the agricultural sector and trade Dmitry Karelsky, the new name more accurately and capaciously reflects the main areas of activity of the ministry.
