
On January 27, in the Center for Contemporary Art “Vincuvod” Moscow will begin work “Philosophical Club”. According to the organizers, it should become a platform for discussing the problems and phenomena of modern philosophy, art, culture, anthropology and sociology.
Within the framework of the project, meetings with researchers and practices in the field of philosophy and culture, as well as seminar meetings, where listeners themselves will be able to create a field for discussion, will be held.
The club is opened by the presentation of the book by Valery Plants "Kairos. A critical moment ”, a collection of philosopher's thoughts on contemporary art. Valery Preoroga is a doctor of philosophical sciences, head of the sector of analytical anthropology of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor of the Russian State University, a prize of Andrei Bely.
After the presentation, a discussion is planned with the participation of invited speakers - the artist and philosopher Andrei Velikanov and the artist, the curator and the theoretician of art Anatoly Osmolovsky.
