The show will be recorded on Monday, January 27, in Los Angeles and shown on television on February 9, the day after the Grammy Award ceremony, reports Chicago Sun-Times .
The project is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of The Beatles on American television in the show of Ed Sullivan.
The duet Eurythmics was created by Dave Stuart and Annie Lennox in 1980, in 1989 it broke up. In the late 1990s, the musicians resumed communication and even recorded a new album under the name Eurythmics , but soon parted again and since 2000 Lennox and Stewart did not perform together.
In addition to Eurythmics, the Grammy television project will unite Paul McCartney and Ringo Starra, the last joint performance of which took place in 2009.
