Earlier on Friday, part of the employees of the Berkut battalion, which is located on Truskavetskaya Street in Lviv, wrote reports about dismissal, Zaxid.net reports . Five commandos left the battalion. Most of them refused to communicate with the press, but one confirmed to reporters that he wrote a dismissal report. He also noted that among the fighters of the Lviv "Golden Eagle" he is not the only one who filed a report. “Many wrote,” he said.

A man of about 40 years, who introduced himself as Yaroslav, refused to name his last name and military rank. Activists who are constantly on duty at the unit say that they saw him in the uniform of the captain.

Later, the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Lviv region, Svetlana Dobrovolskaya confirmed that since the beginning of events in the Euromaidan and as of 12:00 on Friday, January 24, four fighters of the Lviv Berkut wrote reports for dismissal. “There is no mass dismissal of police officers in the Lviv region,” said Dobrovolskaya.

On Friday, the District Administrative Court of Kiev opened the proceedings in the lawsuit to declare unlawful orders, which are guided by the Berkut special forces, ZIK reports . The judge appointed the first meeting in the case on February 13. The judge also ordered the defendant to publish an announcement of appealing orders for the Berkut special forces in the official publication.

Since January 19, Lvivovs continue to block two parts of the internal troops and one part of the Berkut special forces. Fighters, when there are no leadership near them, thank the protesters for not allowing to go to Kyiv. Meanwhile, the Lviv police opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 279 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (blocking transport communications, as well as the seizure of a transport enterprise).

At the same time, the head of the Lviv city police department, Sergei Zyubanenko, said that the police are not at all for a repressive purpose. "We brought things into a single register not to bring someone there there, but so that there was an opportunity to comprehensively study the situation and interrogate people," he said.
