The organizers noted that, according to the law, the authorities do not have the right to change the declared format of the event, or they can only offer another place of its implementation. The authors of the application called on the police not to prevent the march. "Any attempt to force a peaceful procession can turn into unpredictable consequences," the document says. The organizers assigned responsibility for them to the authorities.

On January 24, officials refused to coordinate the march . Instead, they suggested holding a rally on Academician Sakharov Avenue.

Meanwhile, in the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow , the debate of the parties in the "Eight" continues . During the hearings, the defendants Andrei Barabanov, Sergey Krivov and Alexei Polikhovich performed.

On January 22, the prosecution demanded to be sentenced to : Alexander Dukhanin (Naumov) and Krivov by six years; Barabanova, Stepan Zimin, Denis Lutskevich, Polikhovich and Artem Savelov - by five and a half years; Yaroslav Belousov - by five years of general regime.
