Cumberbatch will withdraw from Bodrov

British actor Benedict Cumberbatch will play one of the main roles in the Blood Mountain thriller, director Sergei Bodrov. Filming will begin in April in Morocco.

Variety tells about the plot of the film. The mercenary - the only survivor from the special purpose detachment - must deliver to his one of the most dangerous terrorists in the world. All kinds of dangers are in wait for them on the way, not least they should be afraid of each other.

Among the visits of the film, Lawrence Bender, who worked with Quentin Tarantino on Crime Fiction ( Pulp Fiction , 1994), Kill Bill ( Kill Bill , 2003) and “inglorious basters” ( Inglorious Basterds , 2009).

The project will be presented on the European film market in Berlin, which will be held simultaneously with the film festival (from February 6 to 16).

Sergey Bodrov’s last film “Seventh Son” ( Seventh Son , the USA-Great-British Canada) with Ben Barnes, Jeff Bridges and Julian Moore will be released in February 2015 in the main roles.
