The metropolitan vice mayor Maxim Liksutov announced the planned expansion of the paid parking zone at a meeting of the Moscow Government. The official specified that this will be a "point expansion" of the zone within the third transport ring (TTK). The metropolitan department of transport reported that with specific "points", the cost of parking and the date of expansion of the zone, there is no certainty yet. However, they added that paid parking will probably be introduced in markets, as well as office and shopping centers inside the TTK. At the same time, in preparatory work, officials promise to take into account the complaints of residents about the "complex parking environment, for example, at a neighboring business center."

Tight the parking rules began in Moscow at the end of 2012. Then, on several streets in the Petrovka area, a fee for parking (50 rubles per hour) was introduced. In addition to the expansion of the paid area of the townspeople, other parking novelties expect. From May 1, 2014, parking in the city center will become free on Sundays and holidays, and on weekdays, parking, on the contrary, will become harder to control. In particular, ordinary inspectors will be added to the automatic complexes "Parkon". It will also be possible to pay for parking in 2014 with the help of a replenished travel "troika". The authorities are on this type of ticket (with its help, officials hope to reduce the queues at the box office). In particular, the Troika in 2014 can be paid both on bicycle parking and in Aeroexpresses, and replenish the ticket from a bank card and in retail chains.

The city hall also plan more large -scale transport innovations. So, 58 km of dedicated lanes for public transport (for example, on the Leningrad and Warsaw highway) will be commissioned. It is also planned to build 13 km of metro lines and put into operation nine new stations (for example, Spartak on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line, as well as Butyrskaya, Fonvizinskaya and Petrovsko-Razumovskaya on the Lublin-Dmitrov line). It should be noted that last year 12 km of metro lines and 40 km of dedicated lanes were built in Moscow.
