Gay activist Baev sued Okhlobystin

The Moscow LGBT activist Nikolai Baev filed a civil lawsuit about the protection of honor and dignity to the actor and priest Ivan Okhlobystin. He reported this on his Facebook page. The activist added that he does not count on a successful outcome of the case in Russian courts. "My goal is to bring the case to the highest courts, including the European Court of Human Rights in order to create a precedent for the legal protection of LGBT in Russia," he explained.
