
One of the leaders of the Avtomaydan Dmitry Bulatov, who disappeared a week ago, was found on Thursday evening in the village of Vishenki Borispolsky district near Kiev. As Bulatov himself told the 1+1 television channel, unknown people beat him, tortured him, cut off his ear and crucified him - he has punctures in his hands. The activist does not know who abducted him, but noticed that the bandits were talking "with a Russian accent."
According to Bulatov, after long torture he was taken out and thrown out of the car. Bulatov walked along the village, knocking on all the doors, until he was let into one of the houses. After that, Bulatov called his friends who took him to Kyiv.
Avtomaydan activists reported Bulatov’s disappearance on January 23. The previous night, the Berkut fighters detained Avtomaydan activists in Kyiv, who patrolled the 17th city hospital. The day before, police officers and special forces set up for 15 activists and divided nine cars.
At the same time, on the website of the Kharkov organization Oplot, headed by a former RUBOP employee Evgeny Zhinin, on January 22 a message appeared about clashes in Kiev. The fighters of the Oplot allegedly attacked the Euromaidan activists in masks armed with bits, sticks and knives. On January 23, Berkutovites stole 22-year-old Alexander Khaylak , a volunteer of the medical service of the Maidan. Documents and medicines were taken from her, beaten and left in the forest.
On January 21, unknown people abducted and beaten two more activists - Igor Lutsenko and Yuri Verbitsky. The first was left in the forest with a bag on his head. He is in a hospital with injuries. Verbitsky’s body was found near Kiev on January 22.
Verbitsky’s funeral took place in Lviv on December 24. About five thousand people came to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary to say goodbye to him. The funeral was attended by the mayor of Lviv, the chairman of the Lviv Regional Council, and the deputies of the City Council.
Last Sunday in Kyiv and in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the funeral of activists took place who received a mortal wound during mass protests on Grushevsky Street. More than a thousand people arrived at the funeral of the activist of the Maidan Sergey Nigoyan in the village of Bereznovatovka, Solonyansky District, Dnipropetrovsk Region.
In Kyiv, they said goodbye to the dead activist from Belarus Mikhail Zhizhevsky. After the Panichids in the Mahailovsky Cathedral, where thousands of people gathered, the body of the deceased was brought to the Maidan of Independence, where the memorial service continued.
