I live in Nizhny Tagil. On January 17, I was called to the Nizhny Tagil Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. There they told me that the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Vitaly Milonov submitted seven statements to different instances that the Children-404 project promotes homosexuality. In order not to arise questions, I will briefly tell you what we really do.

The Children-404 project has existed since March 2013. When I had the idea to make such a project, there was no law on the ban on gay propaganda yet. The essence of the project is as follows: we are written by adolescents with homo- and bisexual orientation, transgender, as well as adults who support them. We post letters on behalf of the community, and other teenagers read them and morally support the addressees. After the adoption of the Gay Propaganda law, this draft grew into a group of psychological support. Basically, we exist on the VKontakte social network, because most of the young people use it. We have a “mirror” of the Facebook project, but there are much fewer visitors. We also have a group of psychologists, they help children free in severe cases. In addition, we have a list of addresses for emergency situations when the child is kicked out of the house and he needs to spend the night somewhere.

More recently, a thousandth letter came to us. They write to us even from abroad.

So. The operative of the criminal investigation department, with whom I spoke January 17, said that he personally does not see signs of violation in what we are doing. But on January 31, I was again summoned to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - already in order to present the protocol. I asked: “Why? You said that everything will be fine! " They answered me that either the authorities decided, or someone even higher ... and handed the protocol. It wrote that my offense is as follows: I registered a page in VKontakte, which promotes non -traditional sexual relations among minors. They said that in 15-30 days there will be a court. In the statement that the St. Petersburg deputy Vitaly Milonov submitted, there were two requirements: to finish me for propaganda, and to close the group. And I also face a fine of up to 100 thousand rubles. And all this is only because Milonov, the most ardent wrestler with homosexuality in our country, calls propaganda what I call help.
