"Tricolor TV" turns off "Rain"

On February 10, the broadcast of the Rain television channel will stop the last major operator - the Treaty of Directors of Tricolor TV terminated the Rain Treaty.

According to the operator’s press service today, on February 3, the issue of the Policy of the Rain television channel and its influence on the activities of the Tricolor TV operator, Interfax reports, was raised at the Council of Directors of CJSC.

It was decided that the broadcasting of the TV channel in the operator’s packages was inappropriate, its withdrawal from packages will be carried out in accordance with the current agreement and the obligations of the operator to subscribers.

According to the member of the Council Mikhailov, he said that the decision to exclude the “rain” from the “Tricolor TV” packages was made unanimously “in connection with the inconsistency of the editorial policy of the TV channel with the principles of these packages.”

The official letter of termination of the contract has already been sent to the Rain Television Channel LLC. The operator subscribers are also notified.

“Disabling the“ rain ”with the last major operator means the actual closure of the channel,” Alexander Vinokurov wrote on his twitter, one of the owners of the rain.

The largest cable TV providers stopped broadcasting the TV channel after a survey conducted by the rain on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad and caused the indignation of deputies, officials and public figures-at first it was done by the “online”, “Akado”, “NTV-Plyus” and “Rostelecom”, Bilin joined them on January 31.

The Tricolor TV used to say that the suspension of the channel broadcasts was not planned, but they warned that the operator’s policy did not allow assistance to any forms of inciting public growth.

The Director General of Rain, Natalya Sindeeva, believes that a planned attack is on her channel - the operators received “from above” to close it under any pretext.
