The judge of the Tuapse City Court of the Krasnodar Territory Oleg Kalimanov sentenced a member of the Ecological Watch Council in the North Caucasus Evgeny Vitishko by 15 days of administrative arrest of fabricated charges of petty hooliganism. This was reported on Twitter by the lawyer of the activist Alexander Popkov. The lawyer himself was not present at the meeting, since Kalimanov rejected Vitishko’s request to call Popkov, providing the environmentalist of the defender on duty. The judge also refused to interrogate the "witnesses" of the offense imputed by the activist.
Vitishko was detained by the police on Monday morning at the exit from the building of the local penal inspection, where he was celebrated according to the rules for serving a conditional sentence awarded to him. At first, the ecologist was stated that he was suspected of theft, but after delivery to the police department, he was charged with article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, indicating in the protocol that Vitishko was cursing at the bus stop. They took fingerprints from the ecologist and seized mobile phones.
Eokovakhta directly connected the detention of Vitishko with an Olympic fire in Krasnodar, intended on Tuesday . Ecologists are sure that the region’s authorities intend to neutralize all activists to this day to exclude possible protest performances.
This opinion is confirmed by "preventive measures" in relation to a number of other activists and supporters of Ekovakhta. So, the ecologist Viktor Chirikov was summoned to the police for a conversation regarding the publication on the Internet of a certain video. The activist refused this challenge, after which the police promised to come to his house.
Eokovakhta activist Tatyana Borisova, a student of the Kuban Technological University, summoned the dean of her faculty to the conversation. He told Borisova that he forbids her to participate in political and eco -defensive speeches , because she is a student. Activist Andrei Mandrigel is threatened with expulsion from a university in Rostov-on-Don, although he is studying at a paid department.
On Tuesday, the ally of Vitishko Suren Gazaryan said that the consideration of a complaint about the decision on the cancellation of conditional punishment was scheduled for February 12. At this time, Vitishko will be in a special -reception. “The meaning of yesterday’s vile operation to arrest his arrest becomes clear,” Gazaryan notes.
On January 31, in Novorossiysk, during a single picket, the left activist Daria Polyudova was detained. The next day, the judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court of the city, Marina Schoedenova , arrested Polyudov for 10 days under article 20.1, and also fined her for 10 thousand rubles under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for conducting a public event).
Vitishko himself is now threatened by sending to the colony. On December 20, 2013, the judge of the Tuapse City Court of the Kuban Igor Milinchuk replaced the ecologist on a conditional term for a three-year sentence in a colony-settlement. Prior to this, Vitishko was convicted for three years conditionally on charges of spoiling the fence in the country of the Kuban governor Alexander Tkachev. On November 6, he was issued a warning "about the violation of the regime for serving a sentence" for the fact that he did not notify the penal inspectorate about traveling outside the Tuapsinsky district.
The verdict of the eco -defender was sentenced by the Tuapse district court on June 20, 2012. Together with Vitishko, Gazaryan was condemned. Later, a new business was opened against Gazaryan, after which he fled from Russia and received a political officer in Estonia .
In October, the deputy chairman of the Supreme Court Anatoly Tolkachenko abolished the sentence to Gazaryan and Vitishko and decided to initiate supervisory production on the presidium of the Krasnodar Chief of Kraisud. In the resolution, Tolkachenko indicated that the motives of the actions of eco -activists, named in the sentence by the hooligan, were not actually established. In addition, the court did not consider how legitimate the construction of the fence, allegedly damaged by ecologists, was.
However, on December 18, the Presidium of the regional City rejected the supervisory complaint , evaluating the decision of Tolkachenko as unreasonable. “In fact, the regional court recognized the decision of a higher court illegal,” Gazaryan noted in this regard. “It is inexplicably from the point of view of the law, but it is expected: in the territory of the region, the judiciary belongs to the governor Tkachev, like everyone else.”
