A student of MGIMO, who is a native of the Caucasus, was shot in Moscow

The metropolitan doctors hospitalized the student of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), who received gunshot wounds in the attack of the unknown.

The victim was a 24-year-old native of one of the Caucasian republics, a fifth year student. The young man diagnosed a gunshot wound to the abdominal cavity and the wound of the left hand, Interfax reports.

According to the source in law enforcement, the crime was committed on Monday evening on Pervomaiskaya Street near the house N112. The attacker approached the Mercedes S500 car, fired five times at the Student driver and disappeared.

In connection with the attack, a criminal case was opened under Article 30 and 105 (attempted murder) and Article 222 (illegal turnover of weapons) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the fact of shooting and injuries.
