
The Central Bank recognized systematically significant and transferred to the special regime of the supervision of Gazprombank, Promsvyazbank and Raiffeisenbank, Izvestia reports.
According to the publication, by orders of January 30, 2013 No. 102, No. 103 and No. OD-104, the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina transferred Gazprombank, Promsvyazbank and Raiffeisenbank from the supervision of the Main Directorate of the Central Bank in the Central Federal District, under the observation of the director of the Department of Supervision of the Systematic Banks of Mikhail Kovrigin.
The new department appeared in the structure of the Central Bank on October 1, 2013, but the list of system -forming banks, the assets of which are 0.17% or more from the total assets of the Russian banking sector, are still not ready. In addition, the volume of attracting deposits of individuals and operations in the interbank market should also be 0.17% of the total market indicator. Experts believe that about 20 banks can fall under such supervision.
