Arbitration of Moscow rejected the lawsuit of Russian Railways to Apple

The Moscow Arbitration Court rejected the Railways claim against Apple to recover two million rubles of a fine for violation of exclusive intellectual property rights, RIA Novosti reports.

It is reported that the decision can be appealed within a month.

We are talking about using the Russian Railways trademark in the Apple Store online store by placing the image. The Apple media player called iTunes has a Russian Railways presentation , and the App Store also has a number of applications using Russian Railways logo. However, they were not developed by Apple itself.

As a third party, ITUNES SARL, a platform operator for mobile applications, participates in the case.

Recall that on January 14, a lawsuit of Russian Railways in the amount of 2 million rubles was received by the Moscow Arbitration Court. The date of its consideration has not yet been set.
