COLTA.RU continues the “response” heading : dear people, they answer a question that has been ardently discussed recently.
“We need to educate a new generation of spectators with a good artistic taste, who can understand and appreciate theatrical, dramatic, musical art. And if we did this properly, then, perhaps, there would be no tragedy like today's Moscow, ”President Vladimir Putin said at the opening of a meeting of the Presidential Council of Culture and Art on Monday-on the day the armed 11-grader shot police officers and geography teachers at 263. We collected other opinions about the causes The way the authorities, society and the media should react to it.
Sociologist, director of the Levada Center
In principle, sociologists cannot analyze individual cases, and the general trend that we can judge suggests that the level of aggression, tension is growing in society, and most importantly, weakening of the normative system. This is due to the fact that the preservation of an authoritarian regime is possible only with an increase in immoralism in society. The ideology rests on violence, on the fact that the government defines its position as pure arbitrariness, having no responsibility to society. Strength is approved as the principle of social relations, and then this spreads in a diffuse-capillary form throughout the body of society. Our society is very aggressive, has no prospects, with a high level of social disorganization, auto -aggression, which is indicated by the number of suicides, including adolescents, alcoholism, and many other social diseases. The general level of aggressiveness or demonstration of power becomes the code of social behavior. People do not know how to sort things out and regulate conflicts, only through force. Naturally, such a spilled voltage breaks in one way or another and flares up in some cases. What happened in a Moscow school simply received a tremendous resonance. Such acts somewhere in the provinces do not attract attention, do not fall into federal channels, but they are.
What to do with society? There can be no serious recipes here, very long -term, ten -year reform programs: strengthening solidarity in society, strengthening the authority of the family, authority of law enforcement agencies, and courts, and teachers (especially). They can have some kind of meaning.
Much now testifies to the most serious problems in school and children's environment, but if we talk about education, we must talk about who will educate the educators themselves. Poor education of parents is a much more serious thing than the conflict of one boy with the teacher. This is such a social problem that you can’t solve in ten years. In a strict sense, we still encounter the inertia of Soviet society, the historical inertia of mass repressions, which generally devalued human values. These are not empty words. The experience of violence, not lived, not meaningful, not flooded into any institutional measures, including meaningful teaching, is today manifested by such irrational power and such cases.

This is not an ethical problem, but psychiatric. It is necessary to illuminate. And these are not children, but one boy with implicit projection. And the cops should monitor how the weapon in the house is stored. In Russia, one of the most restrictive legislation regarding weapons - we have only security forces and criminals. Citizens disarmed. What is quite satisfied with the authorities.

I think the children grab the weapon because it lies so that you can grab it. This is the fault of parents. I studied the question of whether the weapon was not to buy, and I was convinced: there are such strict rules that this would bring more trouble. But I consider it hastening to say that the children directly grab the weapon in the mass order. On the contrary, taking into account game violence, video renovation, it is amazing how calm we have in this regard. There are only certain cultural groups that regularly grab the knives. But among most such stories with combat weapons there is almost no. Note that even this unfortunate killed the teacher, killed a policeman in a shootout, but did not touch classmates. That is, even a psycho has a rather high self -control.

The trouble, of course ... And this trouble exposes serious problems - spiritual problems that penetrated our modern society, such as cancer metastases.
I will say right away: I am not in solidarity with those who say that the trouble is that these days people have access to weapons, in particular, the guy had access to the father’s weapons, it seduced him ... I know there are many cases when the children killed at all without rifles. I recall a teenager-narcomancer who killed his grandmother with scissors for not giving money for drugs from a pension. Another teenager who abrupt a mock-alcoholic mocked over him, when he slept, with a bayonet shovel ... A simple brick or a bottle “Rose” can instantly become a weapon in the hands of the one whose mind and feelings were overwhelmed by uncontrollable passions, who became not even a toy in their whirlpool-a light traffic in bloody hot foam.
I do not agree with the assertion that exclusively movie workers and computer charter games that teach teenagers to handle weapons are to blame: here, they say, everyone will prohibit this-and peace and safety will come. Firstly, many parents know from their bitter experience: forbid the child at home to play shooting games, you will throw out a computer-he will disappear from a friend who has a computer, or in an Internet cafe. The logic of this approach is at a dead end, because it naturally offers how the last measure to bed a child at home by the leg to the battery, so that it does not go into a world at all, in which there are so many evil and dangers. In the end, all of us, the people of my generation, to whom at 50, remember our childhood and adolescence and we know that even at the time when there were no computers, someone for the sake of killing kittens or poisoned and scored a weak classmate, that is, sin-the phenomenon is ancient ... And secondly, not all those who watch the militants and play the games, go immediately to reproduce violence in reality. So, for example, I love the films “Leon” Luke Besson and “Crime Fiction” by Tarantino, but far from bringing justice with the help of weapons. Ha, someone exclaims, compared! You are an adult, otherwise a teenager! That's right. That's all the point. The fact that the guy, who is at the age of the most, as you know, risky and complex, no one, apparently, taught to be an adult.
It seems to me that no one taught Sergei Gordeev kindness and elementary I understand that it is valuable not only my “I”, but also the life of my neighbor. If there really was a conflict between the student and the teacher, no one taught the guy to be persistent in trials, keep their blow, the ability to behave in conflict, self -criticism, responsibility, patience. Why? I think only his parents and relatives can answer this question, but it is better for us to refrain and not to fence speculations with you.
I emphasize: I’m not specifically talking about anyone, I don’t bring, according to Vysotsky, “splash in the form of versions”. But, I think, looking at all at our current Russian reality, we will agree with you: so many adults have not taught adults to be adults because they are not adults themselves. Infantilism is the pestilence of our time. I, a priest, do not give prescriptions such as “go to church, pray-go, and everything will change”, but without that each of us at least realize this problem-not everyday life, but our being-we cannot do.

Schoolchildren take up weapons due to the transition period. This guy clearly says - I wanted to die, but before that I wanted to try to kill. The age is like that. As you know, it is at this age that suicide is surfaced. He heard the songs of his idol, understood something in his own way-and stepped out of the window. Or went and shot everyone. How to react to this - I do not know. How to deal with it? The ban on violence, murders and corpses on the screen and storage of weapons according to the rules. But this is possible only for the forces of the family.

If someone really wanted to solve the problem of reducing the number of cases similar to what happened at school, he might have thought that any new weapon owner who wants to keep him at home, since a quarter at his own expense, could be offered to go through a short, 5-10 minutes, an interview with an accredited private psychologist or even a psychologist on a civilian service-the latter, for example, is in any police officer The site, at school, at many enterprises and in government agencies. At the same time, if there are children in the family, a psychologist with some probability will be able to calculate potential problems with weapons. In the end, no one strongly objects to certificates from a psychiatrist when obtaining a permit for weapons (although there are also arguments against) - I do not think that such a recommendation (for cities) will be perceived as an unacceptable intervention in private life.
I do not think that this should be done by mandatory regulation - on the contrary, it should be a voluntary option. For those who do not want, I would offer constant storage of weapons in a rented personal safe in the police department: many are needed for hunting and entertainment, and not for the sake of self -defense, you present a card, take a mark - you take a mark at any time of the day, you don’t need to return, the house in this mode is a few days, otherwise, or anything happened.
The remaining (no longer so large) list of all -in -arms of weapons of freedom without control is an object of a few more close police supervision, which does not violate anyone's rights. There will be, I am sure, already a little.
This is a fairly expensive solution, in general, ineffective (all measures are ineffective against nervous breakdowns) and not the fact that the necessary (we know too little about the structure of society in order to know exactly about the nature of such disasters and their place in self -regulation of society, we generally know little what a person is and how its psyche is arranged) - but it is clearly cheaper and more rational than to equip all schools by armored compartments in case of dullness of the mind in the school corridor. For the United States, this is an almost impassable solution for political reasons, although here the Americans themselves know better. For Europe and for Russia, if in Russia they are really very interested in this problem, it will be more natural than all the stupid things discussed about opera and the ban on computer games.
The trouble is that we have any disaster is considered only as an occasion, but never as a reason.

To be honest, it seems to me that the generalization of any tragic event is not entirely correct. There is no reason to say that Russian children "grab for weapons." There is, thank God, only one tragic case, the causes of which are specific and unknown. Like almost in any case, this kind can be assumed that a large share of guilt is on parents.
The state reaction to such events is almost always completely inadequate. The logic of today's government implies one reaction to any events: to ban and tighten. The only reasonable reaction could only be research, monitoring the mood of schoolchildren for a sufficiently long time. Attempts by immediate response actions are obvious profanity.
It is difficult for journalists to formalize the scope of lighting such a situation. It is clear that there is a framework, but they are reduced to a beat, to respect for someone else's personality. At the same time, these frames should be in a certain balance with the main task of the media - the informing of society.
