According to Mayor Tomash Gudechek, there is no reason to participate in the city authorities in the meeting of Yanukovych. In addition, the official noted, "absurdly, that it was President Yanukovych to land at the airport, which bears the name of Vaclav Havel."
In the case of Yanukovych’s arrival in Prague, Gudechek added, the city authorities will not organize any events held during visits of the heads of state. In particular, the Ukrainian leader will not be invited to traditional admission to the town hall.
Gudechek also said that the authorities of Prague will transfer to the aid of Euromaidan activists wounded in clashes with security forces, 500 thousand Crooked (over 25.4 thousand dollars).
Yanukovych’s visit to the Czech Republic is scheduled for April. Meanwhile, last week, a number of famous social activists, politicians, cultural figures and athletes turned to President Milos Zeman with a call to cancel the appointed visit.
