Artemiev. "About the skier"

Not all Olympic songs in Russia are bravur and murzally positive. The frontman of the ARTEMIEV indie quartet Pavel Artemyev , for example, composed a song about a skier that did not reach the finish line. This, of course, is a joke, not without a share of truth - there is a suspicion that the losers from the Sochi Olympics will be much more than the winners.

- Who ordered you a song about the skier for the Olympics? How did all this happen?

- There was no order for the song. There was a proposal from my classmate Nastya. She called and offered to participate in the project on one channel, where the songs will all be near -olimpi. I somehow doubted immediately. With difficulty he imagined a song about funny starts in my essay. But as soon as he hung up, he immediately came up with a song about the skier who lagged behind the rest of the group and got lost somewhere in the mountains. And how this unlucky skier fantasizes about the finish in the snow coma. This is a joke, of course. I wanted something light and funny. And the song turned out to be simple and naive.

- Are you aware that the Root group also stood on the Olympic ski track ? Who is pursuing whom?

- I have not heard about the skiing of the guys. You opened my eyes to me. What can I say. Apparently, we are haunted by the ghost of the Olympic bear.

- Who would you like to hear at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi and why?

-It seems Zemfira dreamed of singing at the Olympics, I read in some interview. Well, if she wants, then I would gladly listen. But there they have some of their selection criteria, apparently.

- For whom will you root at the Olympics?

- I will root for the inhabitants of the city of Sochi. So that they come to their senses after such a wonderful holiday. And so that they do not forget about them.

- Further creative plans / musical records?

- I hope to record a second album this year. Well, or EP . There it will turn out in time. And swim in the sea. I have not been bathed for a long time.
