Berlinale begins

The jury of the festival, chaired by producer James Sheimus (USA), included actors Christoph Waltz (Austria) and Tony Lyun (PRC), actress Trina Durholm (Denmark) and Greta Gerwig (USA), producer Barbara Brolezi (USA), directors Mitra Farakhani (Iran) and Michelle Gondry (France).

The retrospective of Berlinale-2014 is devoted to the work of operators in the cinema with light and includes 40 dumb and sound films of different directions, including the military and Japanese historical genre Dadaigeki.

Simultaneously with the festival in Berlin, a European film market will be held, on which more than 800 film projects from 94 countries of the world, including the thriller of the Russian director Sergei Bodrov, “ Blood Mountain), which will be removed by Benedict Cumberbatch, will be presented.
